Magpies Crusaders

Mackay & Whitsundays Magpies Crusaders United Football Club, also known as Magpies Crusaders FC, is an Australian professional association football club based in Mackay, Queensland. The club was established in 2017 as an amalgamation of Magpies Sporting Club and Mackay Crusaders Football Club.

Magpies Crusaders represents the Mackay & Whitsundays region in the Queensland Premier League competition. In 2020, they withdrew from the NPL during the mid-season hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia.

In mid-2022 the Mackay & Whitsundays Magpies Crusaders United Football Club (MCU) will not continue to participate in the South East Queensland conference of the Football Queensland Premier League 1 (FQPL 1) beyond 2022.

Magpies Crusaders är ett australiensiskt fotbollslag baserat i Adelaide, South Australia. Klubben grundades 1946 och spelar för närvarande i National Premier Leagues South Australia. Magpies Crusaders har vunnit det sydaustraliska mästerskapet ett rekordantal 14 gånger, inklusive sju gånger i rad från 1960 till 1966. Klubben har också vunnit den sydaustraliska cupen sex gånger, inklusive tre år i rad från 2013 till 2015. Magpies Crusaders är kända för sina svarta och vita tröjor, som har gett dem smeknamnet "The Magpies". Klubben har en stark ungdomsakademi och har fostrat ett antal spelare som har gått vidare till att spela för det australiensiska landslaget, inklusive Mark Bosnich, Aurelio Vidmar och Robbie Kruse.
